The 4 Lunches The Technology
All 4 power sources, wind, sun, water, and earth, accomplished their missions and prepared lunch as required. It's true, energy is all around us. But to get the amounts we have become used to is a bit tricky, and significantly harder using DIY technology. For instance the Ampair wind generater had no trouble generating enough power to cook a soup. The solar cooker I made using an old satelite dish worked infinitly better than the one made from a hand made parabolic curve. Manufactured components get the job done significantly better than DIY ones and may even tip the balance between success and failure. The research time for building the machines took far longer than their construction. From this I would suggest that either this kind of activity should be seen in a recreational light, or a series of machines built at the same time and spread around the constructor's 'community', in order to make any sense of the working hours versus result. |
